Standards for Radiographic Paleoimaging Procedures in Anthropological and Archaeological Research

If radiography is to reach its full potential as a tool for data collection in anthropological and archaeological research, researchers must attempt to standardize application variables of this modality. If radiographic methods are misapplied and reported, progress in the development of radiographic paleoimaging may be hampered. With the experience gained regarding the procedural aspects of this modality, we recommend a unified approach. The authors recommend the following procedural framework as a methodological standard for radiographic applications in anthropological and archaeological research.
