signal, mass and velocity of the particle can be obtained using laboratory calibration data. For example at velocity 10 km s"1, we can determine the mass of particles approximately between 5 x 10"18 and 10"13 kg, corresponding to a particle diameter range between 0.1 and 10/xm.
