Straight to the point

The frills may be for show, but the horn of Styracosaurus is the real deal. At about 0.6 metre (2 feet) long, it makes a formidable weapon. As if the horn isn't enough of a threat, Styracosaurus has another important weapon in its armoury - teamwork. When a predator approaches, the herd closes together in a circle, with the young safely in the middle while the adults present a wall of horns to the oncoming foe.
